Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 13 September 2026
Welcome to Grabsy. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Grabsy website and the purchase of products through our online store.
By using our website or placing an order with Grabsy, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. About Grabsy
Grabsy is an online retailer offering a range of products across categories including pets, home, lifestyle, technology, toys, garden and more.
Some products sold through Grabsy may be fulfilled directly by third-party suppliers and international fulfilment partners.
Where this occurs, your purchase is still made through Grabsy and Grabsy remains responsible for dealing with you in relation to your order and your applicable rights as a New Zealand consumer.
2. Using Our Website
You agree to use the Grabsy website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
-
Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
-
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
-
Interfere with the operation or security of the website
-
Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit our website content without permission
-
Use automated systems to access or collect website content without our permission
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website where we reasonably believe it is being misused.
3. Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and pricing displayed on our website are accurate.
However, minor variations may occur between product images and the product received, including differences in colour, packaging or presentation.
We will not knowingly provide misleading or inaccurate information about our products.
Product availability may change without notice.
Where a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you and, where appropriate, offer a suitable alternative or refund.
4. Product Information
Some product information, specifications, images and manufacturer information may be provided to us by third-party suppliers.
We take reasonable steps to review product information before listing products on our website.
If you believe a product description contains an error or is misleading, please contact us so we can investigate and correct the information where necessary.
5. Prices
All prices displayed on the Grabsy website are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) unless stated otherwise.
Prices may change from time to time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where an obvious pricing error has occurred.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors.
If an obvious pricing error has occurred and you have placed an order at the incorrect price, we will contact you before processing the order and provide you with the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a refund.
6. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected at the price displayed at checkout.
Your order is not necessarily accepted simply because you have received an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
-
A product is unavailable
-
There has been an obvious pricing or listing error
-
We suspect fraudulent activity
-
We are unable to fulfil the order
-
A technical error has affected the order
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide an appropriate refund.
7. Payment
Payment must be successfully received before an order is processed.
We may use third-party payment providers to securely process payments.
Grabsy does not generally store complete payment card details.
You agree that the payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
8. Order Processing & Fulfilment
Grabsy uses a network of third-party suppliers and fulfilment partners to process and ship certain products.
Depending on the product, your order may be dispatched directly from a supplier or fulfilment centre rather than from a Grabsy-operated warehouse.
This allows us to offer a broad range of products without holding all products in physical stock ourselves.
Your order remains a purchase from Grabsy, and you should contact Grabsy if you have questions about your order, delivery, returns or refunds.
You do not need to contact the supplier directly.
9. AliExpress & Third-Party Suppliers
Some Grabsy products may be sourced or fulfilled through AliExpress or other third-party supplier platforms.
These platforms may be used by Grabsy as part of our supplier and fulfilment process.
The use of a third-party supplier does not transfer your consumer relationship to that supplier.
Grabsy will manage customer service, order issues and applicable remedies directly with you.
Third-party suppliers may have their own operational policies and procedures, but those policies do not override your rights under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
10. Shipping & Delivery
We aim to provide fast and reliable delivery throughout New Zealand.
Estimated delivery times are displayed on our website and may vary depending on the product, destination, supplier and shipping method.
Unless otherwise stated, delivery estimates are estimates rather than guarantees of a specific delivery date.
We will provide tracking information where tracking is available.
Because some products are shipped internationally, delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
-
Courier delays
-
Weather events
-
Customs or border processing
-
Public holidays
-
Transport disruptions
-
International shipping delays
-
Supplier processing delays
We will take reasonable steps to assist with delayed or missing orders.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have where a product is not delivered within the agreed or reasonable timeframe.
11. Multiple Shipments
If you purchase multiple products in one order, your products may arrive in separate packages.
This can occur when products are fulfilled by different suppliers or fulfilment centres.
You may therefore receive multiple tracking numbers and deliveries relating to the same order.
12. Customs, Duties & Taxes
Where applicable, international shipments may be subject to customs requirements, duties, taxes or other charges.
Any applicable charges will depend on the nature and value of the goods, the destination and current New Zealand requirements.
Where Grabsy is required to collect GST or other charges at checkout, this will be reflected in the amount payable.
13. Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to stop an order before it has been processed or dispatched.
Once an order has entered fulfilment or has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Where cancellation is not required by law and the order cannot be stopped, you may need to follow our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or refund rights you have under New Zealand law.
14. Returns & Refunds
Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, replacements and faulty products.
Please contact Grabsy before returning any product.
Do not return products directly to a supplier or an address shown on product packaging unless Grabsy has specifically instructed you to do so.
Our Returns & Refunds Policy does not limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
15. Consumer Guarantees Act
Grabsy complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA).
Where the CGA applies, products must meet applicable guarantees including being:
-
Of acceptable quality
-
Fit for their intended or stated purpose
-
Consistent with their description
-
Safe
-
Delivered within the agreed or reasonable timeframe
Where these guarantees are not met, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances and seriousness of the issue.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify your rights under the CGA.
The CGA applies to online purchases from businesses trading in New Zealand.
16. Fair Trading Act
Grabsy is committed to complying with the Fair Trading Act 1986.
We will not knowingly engage in misleading or deceptive conduct or make false or misleading representations about our products, pricing, availability, delivery or services.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under New Zealand law.
17. Product Safety
Grabsy takes product safety seriously.
If you believe a product purchased from us is unsafe, please stop using it and contact us as soon as possible.
We may request information, photographs or other evidence to investigate a safety concern.
Where appropriate, we may work with our suppliers, fulfilment partners or relevant authorities to address product safety issues.
18. Product Recalls
If a product sold by Grabsy is subject to a safety recall or other significant product safety concern, we may contact affected customers using the contact information associated with their order.
We may also provide instructions regarding returning, disposing of or discontinuing use of the affected product.
19. Intellectual Property
All content on the Grabsy website, including our branding, logo, graphics, text, photographs, layouts and other original material, is owned by or licensed to Grabsy unless otherwise stated.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish or commercially exploit Grabsy content without our prior written permission.
20. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, services or platforms.
These links are provided for convenience and do not mean that Grabsy endorses or controls those websites.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or terms of third-party websites.
21. Website Availability
We aim to keep the Grabsy website available and operating correctly.
However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, hosting problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
22. Promotions & Discount Codes
From time to time, Grabsy may offer promotional codes, discounts, competitions or special offers.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
Promotions may be subject to specific terms
-
Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash
-
We may limit the use of promotional codes
-
Promotional offers may have expiry dates
-
Only one promotional code may be used per order where stated
-
Promotions cannot be applied retrospectively to previous purchases
Promotional terms will be displayed with the relevant offer.
We will ensure promotional pricing and claims are presented accurately and in accordance with applicable law.
23. Gift Cards
If Grabsy offers gift cards, additional terms may apply to their purchase, use and expiry.
Any applicable gift card conditions will be displayed at the time of purchase.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grabsy will not be liable for losses that are indirect or consequential and that could not reasonably have been anticipated at the time of purchase.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including rights and remedies available to consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
25. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, war, industrial disputes, government restrictions, transport disruptions, customs delays, cyber incidents or major supplier or infrastructure failures.
Where such circumstances occur, we will take reasonable steps to minimise their impact and keep affected customers informed where appropriate.
26. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using Grabsy and placing an order, you acknowledge that your personal information may need to be shared with relevant payment providers, delivery providers, suppliers and fulfilment partners for the purpose of processing and delivering your order.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with the date of the most recent update.
Changes will not affect rights or obligations that have already arisen under an existing order unless required by law.
28. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Any dispute relating to your purchase or use of the Grabsy website will be subject to the applicable laws and courts of New Zealand, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer legislation.
29. Contact Us
If you have a question about these Terms & Conditions, an order or any of our products, please contact us through our Contact Us page.
